When We Met

纪晴晴今年22岁，即将步入社会工作，在离开小镇之前，她想去看一看母亲出轨对象的老婆，她很好奇那个叫彭芸的女人离婚后过着什么样的生活。晴晴小心翼翼地接近她，却爱上了她……当晴晴向彭芸表达爱意并提议带彭芸去城里生活时，彭芸动摇了。直到一通电话打破了她们之间的亲密关系。 

That summer,Ji Qingqing was 22 years old.Before leaving the small town,she wanted to catch a glimpse of the wife of her mother’s extramarital affair partner.She was curious about what kind of life that woman Peng Yun led after her divorce.Qingqing approached her gingerly,unwittingly found herself falling in love.When Qingqing earnestly expressed her love and proposed taking Peng Yun to live in the city,Peng Yun hesitated… However,a phone call shattered the intimacy between them…

2016 年，我以电影剪辑师的身份进入电影行业，为香港导演徐克、叶伟民和麦子善工作。我一直渴望自己能拍一部电影。这是我的第一部短片。 

I entered the film industry in 2016 as a film editor, working with Hong Kong directors Tsui Hark, Yip Wai-Man and Mak Tsz-Shan. I have been involved in several film productions and have always aspired to make a film myself. This is my first short film, made on a small budget. 

影片讲述了中国南方一个小镇上两个孤独女性相互吸引的故事，爱情与性别或社会身份无关。我对社会边缘群体的主题很感兴趣，也喜欢刻画人物。因此，我将这个故事改编成了剧本。 

It’s about two lonely women in a small town in southern China who are attracted to each other, and love has nothing to do with gender or social identity. I’m interested in themes of marginalized groups in society, and I like human characters. So, I adapted this story into a screenplay.
