2025年6月，同性恋者在郑州人民公园被社会青年暴打的视频传出后，导演前往郑州实地采访，记录风暴后的人民公园及金水河边的同志聚地，大家如何看待这件事，打人事件给当地同志带来的影响是什么？

In June 2025, after a video surfaced of a gay man being violently assaulted by local youths in Zhengzhou People’s Park, the director traveled to Zhengzhou to conduct on-site interviews. The film documents the park and the gay gathering spots along the Jinshui River in the aftermath of the incident, exploring how the community views this event and what impact the attack has had on local LGBTQ people.

This documentary originates from the violent incident that took place in Zhengzhou’s People’s Park in 2025. I entered the site not to recreate the harm, but to listen and to record. What I captured in the park and along the Jinshui River was not only interviews and conversations, but also a quiet resilience that followed the silence. In the aftermath of the storm, the queer community continued to hold space, to gather, and to share their feelings with one another. These fragments form a unique public memory and invite us to reflect anew: what do safety, dignity, and belonging mean for every sexual minority?
