在当代亚洲,酷儿在都市中的生存空间正受到政治、商业与自然等多重力量的挤压。尤其在许多转型中的社会,对少数族群的忽视愈发明显,促使越来越多人重新思考——拥挤的城市与性别身份表达之间究竟是什么关系?
Rohan Parashuram Kanawade 的《仙人掌梨》讲述了一段印度同志阴差阳错的返乡故事,勾起了乡愁,也连根拔起了乡恨。策展人、学者菅野優香策划的短片单元,则通过日本的乡村与城市景观,探讨了酷儿身份与记忆。与此同时,在中国,近年兴起的“新村民”现象与辞职隐居潮流,也与酷儿身份的探索交织在一起。彩虹宝宝平台创始人蔡睿就是其中一员。

In contemporary Asia, queer space in cities is increasingly squeezed by authorities, capitalism and pollution. In many transitioning societies, the ignorance of minorities has become more apparent, prompting more reconsideration of gender expression within the crowded urban space.
Rohan Parashuram Kanawade’s Cactus Pears tells the story of an Indian gay man’s accidental return to the country, evoking both joy and bitterness of the homeland. Curator and scholar Kanno Yuka’s short film program also explores queer identities and memories through rural and urban landscapes in Japan. Meanwhile, in China, the recent phenomenon of the so-called “new villagers” (Xin Cun Min)—urban dwellers resigning from city jobs to live in rural communities—intersects deeply with queer identity. Cai Rui, founder of the Rainbow Baby platform, is among them.
Is the countryside a utopia for escaping urban pollution and political pressure, or does it represent a new frontier of struggle and challenge? This conversation brings together filmmakers, curators, scholars, and activists to share their reflections and experiences.

范坡坡 Popo Fan
酷儿导演、作者和活动家。作品中影响力最大的莫过于“彩虹家庭三部曲”,包括《柜族》、《彩虹伴我心》、《彩虹伴我行》三部作品关注于同志出柜议题,引起巨大社会反响。除此之外他参与组织北京酷儿影展十余年,也是酷儿大学视频训练营的发起者之一。2012年,香港同志影展授予他“玲珑大奖”以表彰其在同志影像、平权的不懈努力。2017年,他获选参与柏林电影节“天才训练营”。2019,他更担任柏林电影节泰迪熊奖评委。 目前他居住柏林正着力发展自己的剧情长片首作。
Popo Fan is a filmmaker, writer, and activist from China, where his queer documentary films have made a notable impact. Since 2016, he has concentrated on writing and directing scripted, sex-positive shorts. He is the co-founder of the Queer University Video Training Camp and has been an organizer of the Beijing Queer Film Festival for more than a decade. Popo was invited to sit on the jury of the Teddy Award of the Berlinale in 2019. He is currently based in Berlin, developing his fictional feature debut.

罗翰·帕拉舒拉姆·卡纳瓦德 Rohan Parashuram Kanawade
罗翰·帕拉舒拉姆·卡纳瓦德是一位自学成才的电影导演,成长于孟买的贫民区,父亲是司机,母亲是家庭主妇。他从室内设计转行电影创作,其短片作品已在全球多地展映。他的长片处女作《仙人掌梨》于2022–2023年入选威尼斯双年展电影学院(Venice Biennale College Cinema)开发项目,并参与了印度电影集市(Film Bazaar)、威尼斯“缺口融资市场”(Venice Gap Financing Market)以及“迈向戛纳”(Goes to Cannes)等国际电影平台。他的短片作品包括《U Ushacha》(意为“U代表乌莎”)、《Khidkee》(《窗》)、《Sundar》(《美丽》)和《Ektya Bhinti》(《孤独的墙》)。
Rohan Parashuram Kanawade is a self-made filmmaker raised in a Mumbai slum by a chauffeur father and homemaker mother. Transitioning from interior design to filmmaking, Rohan’s short films have screened globally. His debut feature, Sabar Bonda (Cactus Pears), was developed at the Venice Biennale College Cinema 2022–2023, and participated in platforms such as Film Bazaar, Venice Gap Financing Market, and Goes to Cannes. His short films include U Ushacha (U for Usha), Khidkee (Window), Sundar (Beautiful), and Ektya Bhinti (Lonely Walls).
蔡睿 Cai Rui
家庭教育指导师,心理咨询师(家庭治疗和佛教流派),多元教育品牌“彩虹宝宝”的联合创始人,英国雷丁大学社会发展与可持续生计硕士。曾定居大墨雨村七年,创建倡导“一座村庄就是一所学校”的墨雨村学以及致力于生态修复的碎石农场。近年在研修心理学、家庭疗愈、儿童发展和社群协作。致力于多元文化教育、支持LGBT社群的个人与家庭成长。
A family education instructor and psychological counselor (specializing in family therapy and Buddhist approaches), and co-founder of the multicultural education platform Rainbow Baby. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Development and Sustainable Livelihoods from the University of Reading, UK. She lived for seven years in Da Moyu Village, where she co-founded the Moyu Village School, which advocates the idea that “a village itself can be a school,” as well as the Gravel Farm, a project dedicated to ecological restoration. In recent years, she has been studying psychology, family healing, child development, and community collaboration. Her work focuses on multicultural education and supporting the personal and family growth of the LGBT community.
菅野優香 KANNO Yuka
QUEERVISIONS 的联合策展人及组织者,同时任教于日本京都同志社大学全球研究研究科,担任电影与酷儿研究教授。她的研究聚焦于电影与艺术中的性别、性取向与种族议题,探讨身份、社群与行动主义在多样放映实践中的表现与意义。她的著作包括《酷儿电影:以不同的方式存在于世界与时间中》(2023,日文)与《酷儿电影研究》(2021,日文),并参与撰写《Routledge日本电影手册》(2020)、《日本电影书》(2020)以及《田中绢代:国家、明星与女性主体性》(2019)等国际出版物。
Co-organizer and curator of QUEERVISIONS and a professor of film and queer studies at the Graduate School of Global Studies, Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. Her research focuses on gender, sexuality, and race in film and art, exploring questions of identity, community, and activism in diverse screening practices. Her publications include Queer Cinema: To Exist Differently in the World and in Time(2023, in Japanese) and Queer Cinema Studies (2021, in Japanese), as well as contributions to The Routledge Handbook of Japanese Cinema(2020), The Japanese Cinema Book (2020), and Tanaka Kinuyo: Nation, Stardom and Female Subjectivity (2019).
