HEY DAD

森林与海的距离有多远？好不容易下定决心沿着倒数的线段不断向前。但到头来，演练了二十年的剧本还是不行；海浪击碎斑驳的勇气，杂讯快速闪过脑中告诉自己，坦白不一定是最好的选择。此刻我决定停下，并倒数下一个二十年——或许到那时，就是时候了。 

I’ve practiced these words for 20 years now, but maybe being candid isn’t the best idea. At this moment, I decide to stop, starting the countdown again, another cycle of 20 years. Maybe it might be the right time by then.

王伟帆，2020年毕业于国立台北艺术大学动画学系，现于英国皇家艺术学院进修。作品曾入围安锡国际动画影展、萨格勒布动画影展、金穗奖、台中国际动画影展等，擅长从自身经历发想、撰写剧本并以动画诉说。 

WeiFan Wang is an animation director based in Taipei and London. After finishing his animation study in Taipei National University of the Arts, he pursued further study at the Royal College of Art and started experimenting with expanded animation. His films, mainly inspired from his interpersonal relationships, have received nominations such as Animafest Zagreb, Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and ASIFA International Animation Day. 

我希望能借此剧本带给台湾，带给社会一部没有爱情，没有争吵，纯粹私密，内敛的酷儿动画短片，并用更温柔的角度讨论与关注同志内心的另一面相。 

I hope to create a queer animation without love stories or quarrels, but purely private and introverted, bringing a gentler perspective to our society and letting people understand and discuss another side of the queer community.
