故事梗概 Synopsis
非二元性别的中国留学生Zee，立志在美国爱荷华当上护士，并且过上性别权益被肯定和保护的生活。从护士本科学校毕业后，Zee努力地准备着通过注册护士执照考试，希望以此获得工作签证而留下来。
Zee, a nonbinary aspiring nurse from China, strives to build a gender-affirming life in rural Iowa, US. After graduating from nursing school, they work tirelessly to pass their licensure exam in hopes of obtaining a work visa.
导演介绍 Director’s Biography
周豪，1992年生于重庆。2014年自编自导自演了首部剧情⻓片《夜》，该片在柏林电影节上首映，并在日内瓦，奈良，南京等国际电影节赢得主要奖项。周豪先后参与了2015-2016年戛纳电影基金会驻留，2017年西宁FIRST训练营，2018年东京天才训练营，以及2021年柏林电影节天才训练营。周豪2021年的短片《无地自容》获得第48届学生奥斯卡金奖，并参加Frameline、NewFest和BFI Flare等影展。他2023年最新纪录短片《希望在哪里》由美国PBS发行，在Doc10影展获得最佳短片，并参加Big Sky、Outfest、CAAMFest等众多电影节。
Born in 1992 in Chongqing, China, Hao Zhou directed, produced and played the main part in his debut feature The Night, which premiered in 2014 in Berlinale. The Night also won top prizes at Geneva Independent, Nara, China Independent, Dong Film Fest, and others. Zhou refined his filmmaking at Cannes Film Festival’s residency in Paris as well as Xining FIRST Training Camp, Talents Tokyo, and Berlinale Talents. Zhou’s 2021 documentary short film Frozen Out won a Gold Medal at the 48th Student Academy Awards and screened at Frameline, NewFest, and BFI Flare. In 2023, Zhou’s short doc Here, Hopefully was distributed by PBS, won Best Short at Doc10, and screened at Big Sky, Outfest, CAAMFest, BlackStar, Indie Memphis, Cleveland, and others.
