高国是一位常驻北京的纪录片导演、酷儿活动家及文化组织者。他在中国主导并共同开发了多个具有影响力的 LGBTQ+ 影像、媒体与倡导项目。他曾担任北京酷儿影展影展轮值主席（2023–2024），现任影展制片人及技术主任。他亦曾担任联合国开发计划署驻华代表处包容性倡导顾问（国家级顾问），领导“酷儿大学”影像能力培训项目（2022年至今），为来自中国的基层 LGBTQ+ 活动者提供培训。他执导了纪录片《晓迪》（2021），讲述一位经历扭转治疗的未成年跨性别者。该片及其配套媒体倡导活动使相关议题进入中国主流媒体视野，并推动公众讨论。次年，他获“2022中国纪录片新导演（CDND）”提名。

Guo GAO is a Beijing-based documentarian, queer activist, and cultural organizer. He has led and co-developed a range of influential LGBTQ+ film, media, and advocacy projects in China. He served as Festival Director on Duty of the Beijing Queer Film Festival (2023–2024) and currently works with the festival as Festival Producer and Technical Director. He also served as Inclusive Advocacy Consultant (National Consultant) with UNDP China, leading the Queer University Video Capacity Trainings (2022–present) for grassroots LGBTQ+ activists from China, including a 2025 cohort hosted in Thailand. He directed Xiaodi (2021), a documentary about a transgender minor who survived conversion therapy. The film reached Chinese mainstream media and helped ignite public dialogue through its associated media campaign. The following year, he was nominated for the 2022 Chinese Documentary New Directors (CDND).
