故事梗概 Synopsis

凌杰一直认为自己是一个女孩,却因迟迟拿不到父母同意书无法进行性别转换手术。为此,在KTV工作时,凌杰不得不带着chocker,假装哑巴来掩盖自己的身体特征。灰暗的日子中,余辉的到来,揭开了凌杰压抑下的波涛汹涌。离家出走进入KTV攒路费的余辉无意间听到凌杰妈妈恳求凌杰冻精以传宗接代的争吵,发现了凌杰不是哑巴的事实。就此,凌杰和这个梦想去整个地球上离家最远的地方——德雷克海峡的男孩有了交集,两个孤独的灵魂互相依偎,又很快分离。新年前夕,凌杰带余辉回了她的“家”,她又回到了孤单一人的状态。余辉在2022年的第一天看到了海,但不在德雷克,他突然有点想家,有点想念凌杰。

Ling Jie always thought he was a girl, but he couldn’t have gender affirming surgery without his parents’ consent. For this reason, when working in KTV, Ling Jie had to take chocker and pretend to be mute to cover up his physical characteristics. In the dark days, it is Yu Hui saved him from the depression and brought him a surge of love. Yu Hui, who ran away from home and entered the KTV to save the travelling expenses, overheard Ling Jie’s mother was pleading with Ling Jie for frozen semen to carry on the family blood and found that Ling Jie was not mute. At this point, Ling Jie and the boy who dreamed of going to the Drake Passage, the farthest place from home on the earth, had an intersection. The two lonely souls snuggled up to each other and soon separated. On New Year’s Eve, Ling Jie brought Yu Hui to her “home”, and she returned to the state of being alone. Yu Hui saw the sea on the first day of 2022, but he was not at the Drake Passage. He suddenly felt homesick and missed Ling Jie.

“你去冻精吧,冻完我们就断绝关系。”剧本来源于此。但是全片,其实讲的是两个关于孤独的故事。凌杰无疑是一只孤鹄,她渴望成为如天鹅般的女人,但因为传统的家庭对三代单传血脉的执念,她不被亲人理解;在ktv工作的日子,在男更衣间穿着裙子,不得不带着chocker掩饰喉结,甚至假装哑巴避免开口,她没有朋友,只是偶尔会看着墙上自己的影子,因为影子里没有性别,影子永远与她为伴。凌杰是压抑的,她不仅被环境困住,她也把自己困住了。而余辉就像落日余晖一般美好,他有着凌杰羡慕的单纯和善良,他就是片名孤鹄的古义,离家出走的游子,渴望去整个地球上离家最远的德雷克海峡。在ktv的日子里,两个孤单的灵魂互相依偎,但是孤身一人才是人生的主旋律,他们短暂的相遇,很快又别离,孤身,然而正是相遇,带来淡蓝日子中橘红的美好。没有家的凌杰带余辉这个离家的孩子,回了她的“家”,一片废墟,周围高楼大厦正在建起。余辉走到了海边,但是他还到不了德雷克,即便如此,他也有点想家了。性别、家庭、生存环境、金钱、城市化带来的新与旧的碰撞、人于之自然的渺小,被这些枷锁裹挟的我们就像孤鹄。我们都是凌杰和余辉,在冲突自我与外界的束缚中,渴望自由,享受孤独。

“You can freeze the sperm. We’ll break off the relationship after freezing.” The script comes from this. But the whole film tells two stories about loneliness. Ling Jie is undoubtedly a solitary swan. She longs to become a woman like a swan. However, because of the traditional family’s obsession with three generations of single blood, she is not understood by her relatives; When she worked at KTV, she wore a skirt in the men’s dressing room, had to wear a chocker to cover her Adam’s apple, and even pretended to be dumb to avoid speaking. She had no friends, but occasionally looked at her shadow on the wall, because there was no gender in the shadow, and the shadow was always with her. Ling Jie is depressed. She is not only trapped by the environment, but also trapped herself. Yu Hui is as beautiful as the afterglow of the sunset. He has the simplicity and kindness that Ling Jie envies. He is the ancient meaning of the film name Gu Hu. He is a wanderer who runs away from home and yearns to go to the Drake Passage, which is the farthest away from home on the whole earth. In the days of KTV, two lonely souls snuggled up to each other, but being alone was the main theme of life. They met briefly, and soon they were separated and alone. However, it was the meeting that brought the beauty of orange in the light blue days. Ling Jie, who had no home, returned to her “home” with Yu hui, a child who had left home. There were ruins and high-rise buildings being built around her. Yu Hui walked to the beach, but he could not reach Drake. Even so, he was a little homesick. Gender, family, living environment, money, the collision between the old and the new brought about by urbanization, and the smallness of people in nature, we are like solitary swans surrounded by these shackles. We are both Ling Jie and Yu Hui, who yearn for freedom and enjoy loneliness in the bondage of conflicting self and the outside world.
