故事梗概 Synopsis
生生短片讲述怀孕五个月的王曼发现丈夫的同性恋身份，萌生打胎、离开家庭的念头，但是一系列事件让她对是否打胎产生犹豫。一方面，如果她打胎，她将会失去腹中鲜活的生命，并且身体会因引产受到伤害，另一方面，如果她不打胎，她将无法逃离畸形的家庭，孩子的成长也会遭遇不幸。传统与现代、繁衍与自我，争夺着王曼的身体，令她无力抉择……
This film tells the story of Man Wang, a woman with five-month pregnancy, thinks about having an abortion and leaving the family after finding out her husband being a homosexual. Yet, she hesitates for fearing the loss of her beloved child and any physical hurt that might come along. On the other side, if she decides to keep the baby, she will be tied up with the “abnormal” family, casting a shadow over her child’s growth. The conflicts between tradition and modernity, reproduction and self-awareness, continue inside Wang’s physical and mental self, depriving her of the capability to make decisions.

王晨，男，1999年出生于山东济宁，西南大学影视艺术系2018级本科生。作为编导主创拍摄的作品曾在全国大学生广告艺术大赛、全国大学生网络文化节、全国大学生艺术展演活动、创•无界首届国际青年短视频大赛、嘉陵电影短片节等赛事中获奖。
Chen Wang, born in Jining, Shandong in 1999, is an undergraduate student at Southwest University (SWU), majoring in Theater, Film and Television Literature. As the writer-director, he has shot several short films that were awarded by organizations such as the National Advertising Art Design Competition of College Students, the National Internet Culture Festival of College Students, the National Art Performance Activities of College Students, “Break the Limit – First Global Youth Short Film Competition,” and the Jialing Short Film Festival.
林如优，女，2000年出生，西南大学戏剧影视文学专业2019级本科生。原创短片剧本《早熟》获2020年第三届重庆影创杯剧本大赛“最佳短片剧本”奖、西南大学“雨僧杯”短片创投大赛二等奖，入围“浙艺金鹄电影节”原创剧本奖。参与多部短片的拍摄，其中《花》获第六届大学生艺术展演活动一等奖、2021嘉陵电影短片节评委会特别奖、“爱重庆”微电影大赛三等奖等六项奖项。
Ruyou Lin, born in 2000, is an undergraduate student at Southwest University (SWU), majoring in Theater, Film and Television Literature. Her original short film script, Precocious, won the best short film script at the third Movie Maker Script Supporting Plan (2020), second prize at the Short Film Startup Competition of SWU, and has been shortlisted for Best Original Script of the Golden Swan Film Festival. Meanwhile, she has taken part in the production of several short films, of which Flowers won six awards, including the first prize at the sixth Art Performance Activities of Chongqing College Students, jury special prize at the Jialing Short Film Festival (2021), and third prize at the Love·Chongqing Short Film Competition.
导演阐述 Director Statement
近年来国内LGBT文艺片创作，在故事上从以同性爱人之间的爱情为主体，扩展到呈现同性恋家庭的问题。本片通过怀孕五个月的同妻王曼作为切入口，呈现同妻问题涉及的不同侧面。首先，同妻作为弱势群体，受到多方面的伤害，她们无法在家庭中获得幸福，也无法像普通女性一样做正常的妻子和母亲。其次，同妻问题是中国生育观念的延续。故事的主题性在于“生生”，第一个“生”指王曼面临的生与不生的困境，第二个指中国传宗接代、子嗣绵延的生育观念。
