Behind Peter’s arrival lies a secret truth about Jacob and his life.

Jacob, with a shaken identity, tries to stay on his “right” path, considering it right. Guided by society, the system and the woman, he decides to find salvation in the church. Director’s Statement

The motivation for writing this story comes from fear. Along with Covide 19 virus in our country after exactly 30 years the government changed. Not going into whether it’s good or bad, since the 1990s war, our society has been preoccupied with national identities and divides that characterize these days even more than ever. We are constantly talking about identity, political identity, national identity, religious identity. Where is the personal identity? Are we slowly getting lost and disappearing among all these different identities.

As someone who has recently worked closely with lgbtq groups, I am more presented with stories of dread of identification, myself as a homosexual person, whether he or she was considered a part of lgbtq communities or not. In a period of enormous fear and suppression brought on by the media, covid 19, and world events, it is extremely easy to step aside without standing out and sticking out from the throng. Accepting the majority’s norms and regulations in order to go through life more smoothly.

Our story covers one of these heroes.

Our story deals with one such character, full of fear and apprehension for one’s identity, hiding in order to get through life as well as possible. Despite the fact that homosexual marriages are legal in Montenegro, to date 2 years, the marriage has not been concluded

The question is whether it is better to hide or get out?
