故事梗概 Synopsis

本片为中国首部全程采用iPhone5手机在无专业打光设备的条件下拍摄夜景的短片。讲述了四个男人之间在平行时空中相遇又分离的故事。

何森和林峰都在各自分手之后睡在了一张床上,他们做了同一个梦,只是这个梦对于何森而言是与前任热恋的美梦,对于林峰而言却是与前任分手的悲梦。梦醒之后两人再次擦肩而过,却殊不知何森早已用手机记录下了与林峰在上一个时空中的相遇。孤独不分性向,时间不等爱情。我们走进这片情感与欲望的夜森林,最终还是独身一人。

This film was shot with an iPhone5. It tells the story of four men in a parallel universe who encounter one another and then separate. He Sen and Lin Feng hooked up andwere sleeping in bed together when they had the same dream. For He Sen it was a sweet dream, but for Lin Feng it was a sad dream about parting ways.

周圣崴,湖南长沙人,北京大学艺术学院2013级戏剧与影视学方向硕士研究生。大学本科期间拍摄短片《巴别塔》、《变形记》、《独生子》,手机三部曲《夜森林》、《拖延症患者的毕业臆想》和《巴黎的皮肤》。短片作品均取得多项荣誉,其中包括第十一届ISFVF北京电影学院国际学生作品展中国地区入围作品、第九届全球华语大学生影视奖最佳实验片奖、第十五届上海国际电影节国际学生作品展最佳创意奖、第二十一届金鸡百花电影节首届微电影大赛十佳优秀大学生微电影、第十一届四川电视节“金熊猫”奖国际大学生影视作品评选活动实验作品类评委特别奖、第六届中国影视数码剪辑大赛剪辑技术类全国二等奖等在内50多个奖项。其中,“手机三部曲”——《夜森林》、《拖延症患者的毕业臆想》和《巴黎的皮肤》,均采用iPhone5手机拍摄完成,三部短片风格与类型迥异,试图探索新媒体手机拍电影的潜力。

Zhou Shengwei born on February 20, 1991, graduated from the School of Arts of Peking University in 2009, and now lives in Beijing, where he continues film study. His fortes include motion animation, creative short narrative, and experimental shorts.

在如今这个移动终端时代,手机具备了一种新的影像生产潜力,我希望把手机的这个潜力尽可能地发掘出来,借助这种全新的个人化的、类似于速写写生的创作理念激励更多的以“不敢怕”“觉得自己没有能力拍”或者“没有专业团队”为借口逃避电影创作的那些电影爱好者们加入到移动终端时代下个人影像写生的新浪潮来。之所以我选择用手机无打光拍摄夜景,是因为有一次我帮朋友用手机在夜里拍照,突然惊觉手机在夜景环境中的略微过曝和噪点的风格化效果特别有感觉,那种粗粝中透着灯光摇曳不定的效果很符合这种情绪。

Yao Cong was born in 1992 in Xi’an and was admitted to the Chinese Academy of Art in 2010.

Sensitive emotions have always been the driving force behind his inspiration. In the process of creation, he attempts to bring his artwork into full play, and also tries to employ stylized settings to complement his work. One can see that his work allows him to convey the inner desire of speaking freely, of reflection and of the quest for release. Recently, his work focus more on gender culture and queer cultural research in particular. This he explores through moving images, social interaction, physical theatre and other media.  He has exhibited widely and participated in various art practices.

导演阐述 Director’s Statement

以性别为议题尤其为酷儿议题的艺术创作,是我大学二年级以来感兴趣并致力的课题。这部片子便以此为议题展开。社会性别分化,是文明的产物,为此我们背负的太多,更或是我们已在不知不觉中习惯并沉浸于伪装的愉悦。我们带妆生活,以假乱真。那么,该何时卸妆。然而,对于既定的社会,无论是以实际形式,或是乌托邦形式,一向都是跟深深的社会排斥联系在一起的。我们都在妥协中挣扎,在挣扎中麻木。一切都太残酷,自由是需要付出代价的,以此我转以往极力抒发主观情绪而不同,在唯美的装饰下直指议题。这是我的本科毕业创作,结合舞蹈剧场与影像语言进行创作,于2014年二月开始构思,五月低完成,在此还是要感谢一路上对我帮助的所有朋友们。

In my sophomore year, I started developing an interest in creating artworks that were centered on the subjectof gender, especially queer issues. This video addresses these issues. We have shouldered too great of a burden because of gender differentiation existing in society; this is a product of civilization. Unconsciously, we are accustomed toindulging in a kind of camouflage pleasure such that we must wear makeup to live our lives and cover up truth with falsehood. Indeed, it’s high time to remove the makeup. However, established society, whether in actual form or utopian form, has been associated with a deep-rooted repulsion. Thus we struggle to compromise and become indifferent in this struggle only to realize that everything is cruel and freedom comes at a price. Shifting from intention to strong expression of subjective emotion, I took a quite different approach to bringing out these themes by employing aesthetic beauty. This is the graduation project I created to conclude my undergraduate study. It finely integrates dance theatre and the language of images. The idea was first conceived in February, 2014 and too as long as three months to complete. Here, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of the friends who have helped.

故事梗概 Synopsis

由基音工作室出品.周振南导演的《逃离》是一部同志公益微电影,这部微电影主要讲述:在上世纪九十年代末期同性恋被社会严重歧视,为了躲避世人鄙视的目光,他们来到荒芜之地“生物岛”寻找真正所于他们自己的快乐。他们在那里开心地生活,在那里发生了许多开心或者悲伤的故事,其中就包括晓晨和志鹏的一段刚刚开始的恋情。最终因为丰城日报记者的偷拍,生物岛被曝光,同志们不得不离开生物岛。

This is a gay movie. It deals with serious discrimination by society in the late 1990s. In order to shelter themselves from the hatred of the world, the characters come to a wasteland called Biological Island in search of happiness. There they lived contentedly, with both good times and bad, including a nascent relationship between Viro and Zhipeng. Finally, because of exposure by a reported from the Fengcheng City Daily, Biological Island was discovered and the comrades had to leave.

本片的故事性在于纵观全片约会见面的情境为主要线索,每一个tomboy讲述自己的故事为主要内容。女孩是缺失的,她的语言也是缺失的,每一个tomboy持有叙述权,没有结局,只有叙述,叙述事实的存在,并且这样形式的处理已经被证实并不会影响人的理解,非但如此这种实验性的方式还给了观众再一次的机会,讲述他们联想到的、思考过的事情本来面目,我会认为很有意思。

Narrative makes up most of the film. During four blind dates, each tomboy tells her story. The lack of good looks and conversation skills on the part of the girls they meet causes the tomboys to intensify their narration. By piecing together several stories and dispensing with an ending, the film works as an experiment that gives the audience an opportunity to enter into an imaginative space alongside the full, original story. This, I think, is an interesting feature of this film.

This film adopts a very simple black and white tone. It deliberately creates visual contrast with black and white masks in order to distinguish between homosexuals and heterosexuals. By using this contrast, the film aims to explore whether the content itself can make people (gay or straight) feel the same way towards love relationships.

Poison is three intercut stories about outsiders, sex and violence. In “Hero,” Richie, at age 7, kills his father and flies away. After the event, a documentary in lurid colors asks what Richie was like and what led up to the shooting. In the black and white “Horror,” a scientist isolates the elixir of human sexuality, drinks it, and becomes a festering, contagious murderer; a female colleague who loves him tries to help, to her peril. In “Homo,” a prisoner in Fontenal prison is drawn to an inmate whom he knew some years before, at Baton juvenile institute, and whose humiliations he witnessed. This story is told in dim light, except for the bright flashbacks.

如果你的孩子向你出柜,会发生些什么? 《My Child》就是关于一批拥有LGBT儿女的勇敢而又鼓舞人心的父母们。他们不仅经历了接受儿女身份的困难历程,而且往前走了一大步,去向其他的LGBT家庭乃至大众分享他们的经验。影片《My Child》里七位父母向观众娓娓道来他们的故事,重新阐释了如何为人父母,何谓家庭,怎样在这般恐同、歧视跨性别者的保守社会里做一名活动人士,这一系列议题。

My Childis about a very courageous and inspiring group of mothers and fathers in Turkey who are parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals. They have not only gone through the difficult path of accepting their children for who they are, but also have taken the next step to share their experiences with other LGBT families and the public. In My Child, seven parents intimately share their experiences with the viewer as they redefine what it means to be parents, family, and activists in this conservative, homophobic, and transphobic society.

Can Candan is an independent filmmaker and a lecturer at Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey.  He has taught film and video courses and workshops, both in the U.S. and in Turkey. His works have been screened internationally at festivals, conferences, in galleries and on television. His documentaries include Boycott Coke (1989), Exodus (1991), Duvarlar Mauern Walls (2000), and 3 Hours (2008). My Child (2013) is his third feature documentary film.

相较在社会运动里摸爬滚打数年的活动家们,《My Child》里的父母们只需更短的时间,就能达到相同的效果。通过分享他们的经历,感动普罗大众,他们已经将LGBT个体们由痛苦的社会边缘带到了公众议题的中心,消除了不少人的成见。这部影片里他们不仅分享了为人父母各异的心路历程,而且唤起了我们每个人心里都存有的情感:一个人如何去做真正的自己,如果令家庭和社会去接受这份真我。他们还从根本上质问了父母、家庭、活动人士的定义。

自我们筹备本片以来,土耳其已有大量LGBT人士遇害,世界其他地方也一样。从这些勇敢无畏的父母身上,我们可以学习到很多,如何与针对LGBT的歧视和暴力抗争到最后。我相信这部影片给了我们宝贵的机会。

What the parents in My Child have been able to do in a short amount of time in Turkey is something that activists struggle to do for years of political activity. By sharing their stories, by touching people’s hearts, they have brought the plight of LGBT individuals from the margins to the center of society and changed hearts and minds. In this film, they not only share their unique personal experiences of parenthood, they also address something that each of us can relate to: a person’s struggle to be who s/he really is, and to be accepted as such within the family and in the society. They also fundamentally question what it means to be a parent, a family, and also an activist.

Since we decided to make this film, scores of LGBT individuals have been killed in Turkey and around the world. In our fight to end violence and discrimination against LGBT individuals, we have a lot to learn from these courageous and inspiring parents. I believe this film gives us a chance to do that.

Filmmaker Mirella van Markus seeks the ideal arrangement of having a child with her wife Claudia. Despite their strong desire to have children, there are worries and doubts. Won’t the child need a father? Will their child be at risk being raised by two mothers? Can they justify raising a child in a family which society doesn’t always look upon with tolerant eyes? And as a co-mother, will Mirella have the same unconditional link with her child as Claudia, the biological mother?

Mirella is searching for answers. Her quest leads her to lesbian parents, children born of artificial insemination, and a developmental psychologist; she even winds up on the sofa of an adviser who counsels people with a desire to have children. While Mirella worries about what the shape of her family will be and about the role of the donor, it stands to question whether they will succeed in getting pregnant at all. We Want Kids Toois a personal, emotional quest in which two women share their worries, doubts, hopes and disappointments. Parenthood isn’t straightforward for the two women, and neither is getting pregnant.

故事梗概 Synopsis

「子女出柜,父母入柜」,正是描述同志子女与父母表明同志身分之後,同志的爸爸、妈妈们一同承继社会歧视的真实写照。本片是一部拍摄自己与同志母亲们对话的纪录片,导演在台湾南部念书的过程中,跟随著一位在台湾同志运动组织担任的义工杨妈妈进行拍摄。透过拍摄杨妈妈与其他同志父母的生命经验分享,看见台湾的同志与其父母们,如何生存在同志的汙名下,一段段挣扎拉扯的生命在此现身。

“When the children come out, the parents come in” is a classic phrase describing the process of coming out between LGBT children and parents. Discrimination against LGBT people from society is transferred from the child to the parents. This documentary is a conversation between the director and mothers of LGBT people. When the director was studying in the south of Taiwan, he filmed the life stories of these mothers. We all lived with the stigma of LGBT and struggled under it.

导演简历 Bio-Filmography of Director

2007年毕业於台大社会系,2010年毕业於南艺大音像纪录研究所。《我和彩虹妈的柜中密谈》是在校期间的毕业製作。毕业後曾於高雄电影节与CNEX纪录片影展工作,并於2011年拍摄老年同志剧情短片-《其它人》与2013年的爱滋助人工作者访谈计画 -《说爱,一五一十》,现为自由影像工作者。

Liao Chen-Wei graduated from National Taiwan University with a major in Sociology in 2007. In 2010, Liao went to graduate school for documentary making. “The Conversation in the Closet” was made during this graduate school period. After school, Liao went to KFF (Kaohsiung Film Festival) and the CNEX Film Festival, serving as print coordinator in these two film festivals. Liao cares about LGBT issues. In 2011, he made a short narrative film about elderly LGBT people called The Others for the Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association. In 2013, he made a documentary series about workers with HIV called Let’s Talk about HIV.

导演阐述 Director’s Statement

同志身分的包袱,在华人家庭的子女与父母身上流转。有幸於就读研究所期间认识了台湾同志谘询热线,并从中得到许多助力。出柜的议题不会是拍完纪录片就结束,而是一辈子都必须面对的拉扯。

The burden of being LGBT is transferred onto parents in Chinese families. Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association (TTHA) gave me the power to face my family. Finishing the documentary will not cause the issue of coming out the closet to disappear. It is a lifelong issue.

故事梗概 Synopsis

四个都市白领女生,不同的人生路、不同的性格,Seven和Sylvia面临着对真爱的彼此接纳,系和Amber面临着五年之痒,以及对寻找自我的迷惘。一次意外,她们遇到了一个神奇的精灵,精灵赋予她们神奇的超能力,帮助她们看到现实中无法看到的景象,并勇敢寻找自我和真爱。故事从一开始的困惑、不安、无奈,到最终的释放自我。搞笑、亲情、友情、爱情等一系列经历,让剧中的四位主角最终获得了爱情正能量的美好结局。

Four white-collar women in the city, each with different life paths and personalities. Seven and Sylvia struggle with learning how to truly accept each other’s love, while Xi and Amber’s relationship faces the test of afive-year itch. Through an unexpected occurrence, the women encounter a magic spirit that gives them super powers, allowing them to see things that don’t reveal themselves in real life, and encouraging them to find their true selves and true love. With laughter, love, and friendship, the four women are finally able to reach a joyful ending.

夜奔, 1980年5月出生, 金牛座, 西安美术学院油画专业毕业,北京电影学院导演进修班进修导演, 从业影视传媒多年,是多档栏目监制。情景剧《家有健客》编剧、导演现任北京世通华纳集团节目总监。新浪微博:@方咏平-无语夜奔。

Ye Ben was born in May, 1980 and graduated from the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in oil painting. Ye Ben received training in film direction at the Beijing Film Academy and has worked in the film and television industry, including as producer of several TV shows, for a number of years.

 

导演阐述 Director’s Statement

拍摄《链·爱》是因为制片人Dongdong对边缘女性题材的执著以及对影视的热情打动了我。不敢称之为电影,也不敢有太多其他的奢望。但极短时间内拍这样一个片子对于我来说,无论是在拍摄运作上还是现场应变能力上都是一次很好的磨炼。希望能在同志群体中传到一些正能量,在娱乐的同时传达爱的自由观念。

Dongdong, the producer of Links  Love, had been encouraging me to do a film about marginalized women. I hope that the LGBT community finds some positive strength through this film, which entertains but also expresses the freedom of love.
